10 Year Anniversary Exhibition happening this August!!!

The Art Studio for Artists Living with Mental Illness is having an art exhibition at HeARTwood Gallery to celebrate its 10th anniversary. This exhibition will showcase the originality and diverse talents of many of the artists at The Art Studio. The exhibition will be held from Thursday August 4th 2011 until Wednesday August 31st 2011. HeARTwood Gallery is located at 153 Chapel Street at Rideau.

The show opening will be held on Thursday August 4th 2011 from 5 -7 pm. Throughout the week gallery hours are Monday-Thursday 4-6 pm and Fridays 2-5. Appointments can also be made to see the show by contacting Maureen Moloughney at: (613) 241-5937

Ancoura and The Art Studio Greeting Card Collaboration

The Art Studio is very happy to work with Ancoura, an organization that provides affordable housing and community support for adults living with mental illness. Four artist's work were selected to be printed on the greeting cards. The money made from the card sales go towards affordable housing and community support for adults living with mental illness, with a percentage going to the artist.
