The Art Studio offers a safe and creative space where artists living with mental illness can express their creativity, without being limited by their mental illness or the poverty with which mental illness is often associated.

The studio space is located at the Hintonburg Community Centre, 1064 Wellington. It runs Thursdays from 12-3 p.m. on a drop in basis. There is a 15 participant maximum at the Studio. Art supplies are provided, and a professional artist is there for support!

An ongoing display of Art Studio work is located at Family Services Corridor Gallery, 312 Parkdale Avenue. 70% of the purchase price goes to the artist and 30% goes back into purchasing supplies for The Art Studio.
